Hooks Historical Drug Store and Pharmacy Museum, Indianapolis, Indiana, circa 1975

Description: Costumed historical actors play a game of checkers at the Hooks Drug Store museum while another actor, dressed as a store employee, looks on. The interior of the pharmecy museum features fixtures from the 1850s and a soad fountain from 1875. Created at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in 1966 as part of an exhibit celebrating 150 years of Indiana businesses, the museum continues to be open each year during the annual state fair.
