Description: |
Men stand around or on carriages that are hitched to horses. The carriages are parked outside of a building that reads P. H. Lamb / Livery Feed & Sale Stable. Newspapers of the time indicate Porter H. Lamb entered the livery business in 1884 and then began working in the undertaker business in 1891. He and his son are the first owners of the Lamb & Son (Lamb-Basham Chapel in 2019). |
