Description: The caption reads N. W. Corner Main and Wayne Streets, Orland, Ind. Two women and a man stand in front of the Greek Revival-style A. D. Crandall store. Also seen are signs for a hardware store selling Studebaker wagons and buggies, and a restaurant and bakery.Adelbert D. Crandall (1866-1942) also owned a harness business. He is buried in Greenlawn cemetery, Steuben County. The adjoining hardware store was owned by E. A. Wilder (1845-1927).
