Television cowboy Clint Walker, who played Cheyenne Bodie in the western series Cheyenne, waves from the back of an Indy 500 Festival convertible. He wears a cowboy hat, a fringed frontier buckskin leather shirt, and a cartridge belt. He participated in the Indy 500 parade on May 27, 1961, the golden anniversary year of the race. Spectators line the street. The Bass Photo number is 128738-1. The photo was taken in the Indiana World War Memorial Plaza near Obelisk Square. |
