Painted over the entrance is a warning- $5 fine for diving or riding over this bridge faster than a walk. Also painted is the name of the builder, Joseph A. Britton, and the auditor, Edwin F. Hadley. Other names painted on the bridge are Geo. Mater, J. A. Arden, and J. C. Reddish. The W. P. A. repaired the bridge in 1940. |
