Male students sit in their room at Purdue, West Lafayette, Indiana, circa 1910

Description: Students study at desks in their room at Purdue University. A male student sits out of view reading a book- his legs and book are visible on the right side of the photo. The man in the center is concentrated on his book. On the left, a man is almost laughing as he sits at his desk. He is most likely Glenn Nelson (1892-1966). Pennants for Los Angeles, Wabash, and Crawfordsville hang on the wall. Cutouts from newspapers or magazines hang on the walls and around the trim. A piece of paper with Cheer Up! printedon it hangs next to the window. A dresser with drawers partially pulled out stands in the corner with a clock sitting on top. Most likely the same room pictured in ia-0001-c048-0004, ia-0001-c048-0007, ia-0001-c048-0008, and ia-0001-c048-0009 as the wallpaper is the same. It is possibly a rooming house or a fraternity instead of a dormitory.
