Description: Men, presumably employees, at the Wellington railroad depot, located near College Avenue and 63rd Street in Indianapolis. Signs are visible for American Express and a Western Union Telegraph office. In 1884 Wellington, a small village on the south bank of the Central Canal, merged with Broad Ripple to the north of the canal.
