The back reads The Black Curtain Dinner Theater is the first dinner theater of Indianapolis and the Talbott Street Art Fair is one of the nations oldest and finest outdoor festival of the arts.The Black Curtain was opened as the Talbott Theater in 1920, was renamed the Coronet Theater in 1956 and then renamed the Encore Theater in 1962. Closed as a movie theater in 1967, it became the Black Curtain Dinner Theater which lasted until the late-1970s. Since then it has been in use under various names as a bar and nightclub.
