Methodist Episcopal Church and parsonage, Mentone, Indiana, circa 1910

Description: An electrically lit arch on bunting-decorated columns spans the street in front of the brick church located on the southwest corner of East Main and South Morgan Streets. Mentone M. E. Church 1893 is in the design of the arched glass window above the doors. To the right is a frame house parsonage and west of it is a building with what appears to be a slant light window (a type of skylight) of a photograph studio. The 1914 Sanborn Mentone sheet 2 indicates that printing was on the 1st floor of this building and photo was on the 2nd.As of 2021 the Mentone United Methodist Church building is extant with additions that replaced the two frame structures.
