Description: Giant cash register prop used for the War Savings Stamps program during World War I installed at the corner of Meridian and Washington Streets.A sign on the giant cash register says that Margaret Mower and George Gaul of the Stuart Walker Company will appear tomorrow at noon. The Indianapolis News of June 21, 1918 reports: George Gaul and Margaret Mower, leading man and woman of the Stuart Walker players, now at the Murat theater, made such a splendid success of their work at the War Savings stamp cash register at noon yesterday, that they were induced by the committee to play a return engagement at noon tomorrow.
