Reception Room, Y.W.C.A., Indianapolis, Indiana, 1911

Description: Interior view of the Indianapolis Y.W.C.A. which opened in March 1909 at 329 North Pennsylvania Street. The photograph shows the main reception room filled with several tables and chairs and a large print of The Last Supper hanging on the wall. Also visible is the doorway leading into the directors office. In addition to rented rooms, the building offered a swimming pool and large gymnasium, and classrooms.
