Electric Tower at Wonderland Amusement Park, Indianapolis, Indiana, circa 1906

Description: Front depicts The Beautiful Electric Tower, Wonderland, Indianapolis. People walk around the base of the tower, a rollercoaster titled the Temple of Mirth and a Scenic Railway ride are visible in the background.Wonderland Amusement Park was located on the east side of Indianapolis, near the East Washington Street and Gray Street intersection and at the end of the Irvington trolley car line. It opened in 1906 and featured many attractions that captivated its visitors. The Electric Tower, at 125 feet tall, allowed for visitors to climb to the top for a view of the entire park. The park burnt to the ground on August 28, 1911, never to be rebuilt.
