Family playing badminton by the E. F. McCabe home, Williamsport, Indiana, circa 1890

Description: Five people are seen playing tennis or badminton by a net next to a large two-story white house. A child stands on the porch. Handwritten in ink at the bottom is reads For Sale - Inquire of E. F. McCabe. In pencil on the top of the photo mat is $2000.The home is located near the intersection of Main and Bluff Streets on the south side of Main Street and is referred to as the Park-McCabe House in the Indiana State Historic Architectural and Archaeological Research Database. It was built in the mid-1860s by Captain James and Eliza Park and stood about 300 feet northeast of the 1872-1886 courthouse. McCabe purchased the house circa 1879, As of 2020 is still standing but has been heavily altered.
