Built in 1851, this was the third courthouse in Bowling Green preceding transfer of the county seat to Brazil in 1877. The building was then used as the Bowling Green Township building. it was destroyed by lightening in 1910. The numerous wagons around the building indicate a public event, possibly an Old Settlers Celebration. Postmarked November 1, 1909. |
