Description: |
View from the cemetery looking east on the dirt Main Street (later Highway 244). Shown to the left just beyond a bridge spanning the Little Flatrock River is the Milroy Roller Mill, now replaced by houses. The Dutch Colonial-style house in the center, located at 415 West Main Street, still stands as of 2020. This real photo postcard (known as RPPCs by collectors) was postmarked May 28, 1909, and produced for W. W. Barton Drugs, Paints, and Wall Paper of Milroy. |
