Will of Allen Hamilton

Description: Photostatic copy of the last will and testament of Allen Hamilton. He bequeath his property and possessions to his wife Emerine, his sons A. Holman and Montgomery, his other children, his sister Elisa, and his brothers James and Thomas. He suggests that his wife and children give aid to our brave disabled soldiers who survive the preservation of our Union, and the widows and orphan children of those who have died in the cause of our country. He appoints his son A. Holman, his wife Emerine, and his friends Jesse L. Williams and James M. Ray as executors with his son Montgomery as a replacement if necessary.
