Boat House 1905

Description: Front: Printed script at bottom of photograph reads, Boat House and Canal, Winona Lake, Ind. Handwritten script around outside edge reads, Dear Rubie: I wish you were here to go out rowing with us this evening. We are having a fine time. How do you like the wild west? The first pass of the canal dredging/construction was in 1902. This card is postmarked in August of 1905. The Boat House and the north end of the canal are shown. The cards producer, Bradford & Company of St. Josephs, Michigan produced postcard scenes from all over the United States.
