Will Rogers and Billy Graham are among the hundreds of famous guests that stayed at Rainbow Point.Rainbow Point was the home of Homer Rodeheaver. Rodeheaver gained much of his fame as being the song leader and audience warmer for Billy Sunday. Rodeheaver gained most of his fortune as an astute businessman and music publisher. He was a gracious entertainer. His home was on the southwest end of the island in Winona Lake. The house has been described as a remodeled farm house rebuilt in 1912 to resemble a boat complete with railings along the flat roof. At one time the house featured a sliding board from the second level to the lake. Rodeheaver died in 1955 and the home was occupied by his sister Ruth and her husband Jim Thomas until their deaths. The home still exists.
