Front: Script at top of postcard reads, The Inn Fountain, Winona Lake, Ind.Back: Body of message reads, Dear Ida, Some Winona girls. That fine parcel came O.K. Many very many thanks. Mothers apron found will mail it from Seattle. Addressed to, Miss Ida Davis, 239 Buckingham St., Newark, [...]. This large native stone structure is part of a artesian spring that was near the front of the Inn. The Inn was a large hotel on Park Ave. The tracks of the narrow gauge railroad can be seen in the picture. The railroad ran from the Entrance Buildng to Kosciusko Lodge following beside Park Ave. The shared tin cup can be seen being used by the young ladies. |
