Entrance 1910

Description: Front: Script at top of postcard reads, Entrance and Depot, Winona Lake, Ind.Back: Body of message reads, June 6, 10. We are at Winona Lake. This is a fine place about 50,000 here yesterday. Am going home this afternoon. Have seen a good many of your people here. Will answer your letter soon. Albert Hughes. Addressed to, J. LePepple, Everett, Pa.
The red roofed Entrance Building is seen near the center of the postcard. The writer of the card estimated that there were 50,000 people here (Winona Lake) yesterday. He also referenced that a lot of your people were there. It is possible that he was referring to Church of the Brethren conference that was in progress. Many Church of the Brethren members, in 1910, would have been considered plain people because of their distinctive garb.
