Authorized by act of Congress - May 19,1898. (Postal Card - Carte Postale.) Addressed to, Mrs. C.B. Conover, Franklin, Ohio. Warren Co. Winona followed a tradition of the New York Chautuqua by having most of the homes and cottages named by their owners. Dickey named his cottage Killarney Castle. Obviously the design of the house had castle like features and made it one of the most unusual bits of architecture in Winona Lake. |
