Description: People are working to prepare the interior of Hinkle Fieldhouse for Dwight D. Eisenhowers visit. Decorations include flags, bunting, photographs, and a We like Ike sign His September 9, 1952, visit was part of his presidential campaign. He spoke for 30 minutes to a crowd of 14,600 people who were inside Hinkle Fieldhouse. An additional 5,000 people sat in the Butler Bowl and listened to his speech via a public address system.
