Description: This photograph of Jordan Hall was taken from the front of Irwin Library. Constructed in the Collegiate Gothic architectural style, Jordan Hall was named for Arthur Jordan who donated $1,000,000 to Butler University. Construction on the building began in 1926 and the building opened on September 17, 1928. The buildings cost was approximately one million dollars.
