People walk on sidewalks or sit on benches in the South Mall. Renovated in the early 1990s, parking spaces were removed from the South Mall and were replaced with sidewalks, benches, trees, and other landscaping, creating a pedestrian friendly space. A portion of Atherton Union can be seen beyond the trees in this photograph. |
