Description: |
This photograph shows the redesigned entrance to Butler University at 46th Street and Sunset Avenue. In Butler University: a Sesquicentennial History, George M. Waller writes that during this project a redesigned entrance to the campus, at 46th Street and Sunset Avenue, replaced the southern entrance, with Claredon Road terminating at Hampton Drive, thus eliminating streets from the mall. From left to right the buildings in this photograph are Jordan Hall, Gallahue Hall, the Holcomb Building, and the Pharmacy Building. |
