Description: Black and white photograph of an architectural drawing of the Science Complex created by the architectural firm Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum (HOK). Construction of the Science Complex, consisting of the Dorothy and Edward Gallahue Science Hall and the Holcomb Research Institute (HRI) started in 1971 and a groundbreaking ceremony for Gallahue Hall was held on January 29, 1971. Both buildings were constructed concurrently and opened in 1973. From left to right the buildings shown are Jordan Hall, Gallahue Hall, the Holcomb Building, and the Pharmacy Building.
