Construction work is underway on the addition to the north side of Atherton Union. The 5,000 square-foot addition was added to the north side of the building, expanding the bookstore and adding the campus Starbucks. When the coffee shop opened on August 16, 1999, it became Starbucks first full-retail store in Indianapolis. The background of the photograph likely shows the coffee shop space, while the entrance to the campus bookstore is on the left. |
