Trench being dug between Atherton Union and Jordan Hall

Description: A trench is being dug between the north side of Atherton Union (not pictured) and the south side of Jordan Hall. The bucket from a piece of earthmoving equipment hangs over a person with a shovel who is standing in the trench. This work was likely part of the construction for the 5,000 square-foot addition that was added to the north side of Atherton Union, expanding the bookstore and adding the campus Starbucks. Portions of Jordan Hall are visible in the background of the photograph.
