Description: |
From 1996 to 1997, Robertson Hall was remodeled as a campus welcome center. On Saturday, September 27, 1997, during Homecoming, there was a re-dedication ceremony for the building. During that ceremony, a time capsule was placed beneath this rock, west of the terrace steps. Some of the items included in the time capsule were a copy of the 1997 Drift; the 1997-98 student handbook; a 1997-98 admission application; the 1997 Homecoming schedule; the Saturday, September 25, 1997, issue of The Butler Collegian; the Saturday, September 27, 1997, issue of The Indianapolis Star; and the program for the re-dedication ceremony, among many other items. A portion of the Science Complex is visible in the background of the photograph. |
