Stonework on Jordan Hall

Description: Taken during the summer of 1995, this photograph shows a stonemason working on the stonework on Jordan Hall. The building was constructed of reinforced concrete with brick infill on the exterior walls. The 2,797 tons of Balfour pink granite and 2,500 tons of limestone on the exterior walls is purely decorative and does not support the building structurally.
