Cars are parked on the streets outside of Jordan Hall

Description: Cars are parked on the streets outside of Jordan Hall and the surrounding land is landscaped with shrubs, grass, and trees as well as sidewalks and benches. Classes were first held in Jordan Hall on September 17, 1928. The October 1928 issue of The Alumnal Quarterly included an article titled Introducing a New Butler, which described the new building for people who were not able to visit it in person (p. 129). The article states that across from Jordan Hall is a wooded parkland with landscaped gardens, a sun dial, and well-kept lawns (p. 130).
