.4PROJECTORS CLUBIn order to have competent movieprojection service for the school, acluh was formed to train hoys for thisjoh. As part of the training, these boysoperated the movie projector for several junior high school convocations.As an added service to the school, eachqualified boy is assigned to work inthe projection room one period eachday.GAMES CLUBBecause of popular demand, MissRuth Alexander formed a games club.During each activity period forty students have busied themselves playingbridge, canasta, chess, checkers, andmany other games. Besides having anenjoyable time, these boys and girlshave learned to play games which theywill continue to play long after theirschool days end.SCIENCE CLUBA photography dark room was themain project of the Science Club. Inaddition, the members made a fieldtrip to I. U. to see the cyclotron, andsent delegates to the Junior Academyof Science Convention at Wabash College. Scientific demonstrations weregiven at many meetings.Page forty-two |
