Description: SENIORS 1945The seventh grade began our junior high world. We were divided into twohome rooms, which offered much competition in intramurals. Events plannedby our Club for Bigger and Better Times’’ included a number of parties, oneat Christmas time, another on St. Patrick’s Day, a bicycle trip, and picnic. Butnot all the time was devoted to play, much time was spent studying and preparing for high school. In our freshman year we began our social season with a Hallowe’en Dance. Two skating parties gave us a good start on our high school career. Homeroom programs were given with much interest on Fridays. Our sophomoreyear followed much the same pattern. As juniors we began with a skating party as in previous years. During thisyear the class was divided in two home rooms; girls in one and boys in another. With this status we had very helpful guidance programs. Our annual JuniorPenny Carnival was the biggest success in years. It was the introduction toa wonderful ‘‘Manhattan’’ Prom. During the year three members held OpenHouse for the fun of the whole class and later a swimming party completedour social calendar. In our senior year, the class started social events with a skating party. TheJordannus Skits made sales of the annual a success. Our senior class playThumbs Up proved the acting ability of many of our members. Our socialevents for the year have included two parties at members’ homes, one atChristmas and one the night of the senior play. The senior home room sponsors are Mrs. Marcile Franklin and Mr. VirgilSchooler.Dick Bartley, PresidentRosemary Coleman, SecretaryBill Craber, TreasurerBob Colpitts, Vice PresidentPage eleven
