JUNIOR RED CROSSRow One: Carol Kaslow,Mary Alice Rowland, BarbaraHoadley, Frances Barnhart,Becky Sue Isom, Jane Walden, Lorela Enterline, JulieStrong, Ruth Alice Freeman,Norma Colpitts.Row Two: Margie Deckard, Carolyn Callahan, Marjorie Fisher, Jean Robinson,Antonia Costas, Miss Stull,Carolyn Becovitz, Julia Farris, Kathleen McClain, Martha Rudin.The Junior Red Cross has done various things such as making scrapbooks,decorating nut cups for the service men, and making rag dolls for the childrenin Riley Hospital at Indianapolis. They collected combs for the people in England, and magazines and books for the service men. They had two dances: onewas a Tramp Dance, and the other was a Spring Hop. The money raised wasused to carry on various projects. One project was the making of lap boardsfor the service men in hospitals. They were made by the boys in the industrialarts classes and decorated by members of the art classes.
