Another group in the class kepta record of the courteous and discourteous acts observed at school, andthen presented each item for discussion. Still another committee invitedspeakers to address it on the topic, “Discourteous acts of people in publicplaces.” A fourth section gave a true-false test on social conduct.Charm! Poise!9AThat’s it—personality. We are becoming conscious of this importantattribute after hearing talks given by members of our class in home roomperiods. We discussed the different qualities that make up a pleasing personality and tried to find out how we could develop these qualities.Other programs were given in the form of quiz contests, planned byour most efficient home room program committee.
