—— -One of the bigger projects of the FutureHomemakers of America was their candyand doughnut sales. This club is a nationalorganization that is interested in and working toward better home and family livingthrough local, state, and national activities.Attending district meetings was another activity which the club enjoyed. The club issponsored by Miss Joyce Konzelman andits officers are Mildred Cain, President;Phyllis Galyan, Vice President; Irma Gray,Secretary, and Ellen Douglas, Treasurer.Boosting school spirit and creating a betterunderstanding of the art program, the Artsand Crafts Club has been a welcome additionto University School activities. Under thesupervision of Fred Mills, the club co-sponsored the sectional basketball rooting sectionwith the GAA. Selling fudge at the homebasketball games and sponsoring an art exhibit in April were a few of the other activities which this club carried on during theyear.
