In the fall, the band and orchestra conducted an extensive candy-sellingcampaign to raise money for new uniforms. Ateach home football game, varsity band memberspresented half-time programs planned by theirdirector, James Roberts. Several concerts werepresented by this department: their annualChristmas concert and the Spring Music Festival. In cooperation with the Jordan Jesters,the chorus and orchestra presented a musical,Finian’s Rainbow,” in March.7$U-School’s Varsity Band entertains the crowd at Univee Field during a half-time show as thethree lively majorettes salute.Page twenty-four |
