V **Wthrills and Excitement During the WinterAlthough the 4-15 record doesn’t show it, this wasa good year for the basketball team. The recorddoes not show that the Univees won 4 of their last6 ball games, nor does it show that they played thenumber two and the number six ranked teams inthe state. With no returning lettermen on hand,the Univees steadily improved throughout the season.The whole team was very sorry, when, at theend of the season, it was announced that GeneFaris would not be next year’s basketball coach.
