ntHetean favLty Ax/x- fond of dancing that she could hardly walk decorously out in the line at the close ofthe day. Well, that is one person who has become just what I knew she would be. Iremember how eager she used to be to engage in the rhythmic exercises offered inphysical education classes.Again the scene changes, and I see a nice looking man coaching a basketball team.It is Philip Wampler. He is married and has a son who is the captain of his team.Isn t he another Philip? He has light thrown wavy hair, blue eyes, and is about thesame size as his dad. There are still four of the class left, but I don.’t see any more. The crystal appears cloudy, but I would like to know what has happened to them. The ball is clearing but still I don’t see anyone. Maybe I had better search the skies. Sure enoughthere is Bivian Richardson in a large airplane over the Pacific Ocean. It is one ofthe famous China Clippers on its way to China. Bivian is a newspaper correspondentfor the New York Times. She has worked herself up to this position from a cub reporter on the Unionville Arrowhead, and she is a very good columnist.I wonder what has happened to Easter Pelley. Did she ever marry that fellowshe used to talk so much about? Let me see if I can find her. Yes, I see now, she ismarried to Ranous Neal and has four children. Two of them are twin girls. They haveblonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. Her other two children are boys, and they look justlike their father. The family is living in Indianapolis and are very happy. What has happened to Lester Woods? I don’t seem to be able to find him. Yes,yes, I do. He is walking up and down the aisles in a large department store in Chicago. The girls are all looking at him and smiling. My, how he smiles back at them! Ayoung lady comes into the store and asks to see the manager. Now I understand whythe girls were so nice and friendly, for the clerk conducts her to Lester. Lester takesthe visitor to his office and as the office door opens I see a small, beautiful, grey eyedblonde, busily typing at adesk. She must be the manager’s secretary! She gets up now |
