The play wasbuilt around uncle—who is missing for a week, and is laterfound sitting on a park bench, with a wounded head. He hadon unfamilar clothing and finds a wallet with five thousanddollars in his pocket. He can’t seem to remember where hehas been or what has happened to him during the past week.His identity is mistaken and his picture is put into thepaper as, ’’Carl the Killer.” He is nearing the clothes thathe doesn’t know how or wriere he got.There were many other exciting scenes where Carl istrying to find out what happened to him, and if he is reallymarried to Alice. Alice is Lloyd’s wife, but Carl jumps atthe conclusion she must be his, since her name is Douglas,and because of her actions toward him. Bill and Millie mistake Carl to be their chief who is Carl the Killer, too.Theyplan a kidnaping, telling Carl all about it, and when thekidnaping victim turns out to be Alicia Ellsworth, Carl’spromised bride, it is about more than he can take.In the end all turns out well and good. The Sergeantcatches Bill ana Millie who are wanted by the law. Aliciaand Carl will soon hear weui i. g bells, and all our happyand living in peace once moro.
