ADMINISTRATION WITH A PERSONAL TOUCHMr. Wald ema r Sowder, who graduated from Smithville High Schooland attended Indiana University and Central Normal College, has, duringhis first year as trustee of Clear Creek Township, displayed sincereinterest in its schools. He conducts school business with dignity andconsideration, at the same time maintaining a personal relationship withthe students, faculty, and staff. He is to be commended on the fact ofhis learning already the first names of nearly all the pupils of SmithvilleSchool. Despite the many duties relating to his farm, Mr. Sowder isnever too busy to listen to school problems and to make every effort tobring about improvements.MR.
