Description: judj/ blumeApril 6, 2000Dear Friends at Harmony School,Here’s how I spent today, Thursday, April 6, 2000 in Key West, Florida.7:20 - wake up7 30-8:15 - shower/shampoo, trim toenails, make bed, start laundry8:30-9:30 - breakfast with George, read local paper, water garden9 30-1:15 - work at desk - writing (or trying to) new book about Fudge; consulting on screenplayfor another project, hoping phone will ring so I won’t have to write, hoping it won’t ring becauseI’m trying to focus1:15- quick lunch with George, then back to desk for another hour of torture2:30 - gather socks and running shoes, search the house for sunglasses and keys, find them, jumpon bicycle and race to personal training session.3-4 - work out with Bill Yankee, personal trainer Laugh a lot with Phyllis, a friend who is alsoworking out4 10 - bike to Fausto’s, local grocery store4 25-5 03 - shop, and stop to chat with other shoppers5:05-5:12 - bike home with overloaded basket.5:15 - put away groceries, drink juice and munch lemon chips5:30 - jump in pool5.52 - dry off and start to read New York Times -5 58 - unexpected nap6 14-7:15 talk with George, read some more, look over mail. .Answer phone calls7:30 - cook up pasta supper with George.8:00 - eat supper with George8:54 - walk to waterfront with George. Laugh a lot. Get an ice cream Admire the night sky9 47 - walk home - rejoice that we had no special evening plans10:00 - get ready for bed. Spray with citronella to keep the mosquitos away10:17 - get into bed to read.
