Description: E-Lementarywins SoccerChallenge 97(7uchl)■ ■ ■ . .The tension was building. Middle school on one end andelementary on the other. When Coach Bart called over hiscrew, the Middle School lined up and did theirintimidation exercises. We all laughed, but I was prettysure that we were all scared out of our wits. Bart told us togo out there, have fun and play our hardest. I was put in inthe beginning and the whole time I played, I had a blast! The Elementary had finally come together. And theMiddle School, boy, were they good! They had greatpasses, great kicks and great teamwork. By the time thefirst half was over the Elementary had scored twice, bymyself and by Benny. Halftime was exciting for theElementary because for the first time we were ahead. Thesecond half was topped off with a score for the MiddleSchool By Noah Bendix-Balgley. But in the end theElementary won for the first time in history. I must admitthat the Middle School were great sports and werecontinuously congratulating us. The hand off of the rubberchicken was a joyous moment that was captured on film. The rubber chicken will be in our keeping until the MiddleSchool wins again.M/98Middle School Reponse—The little jerks cheated. Dangit, when we was elementarykids, we had the good sense to lose when we was sposeta. When we was their age we hadda walk 15 miles to thesoccer challenge. By the time we got there, we had blistersso big we hadda play barefoot. - anonymous middleschoolerHigh School Response—When asked, high schooler Drew Dibble respondedWhat a comical game. I dont know what was screwier, the loonball goof-ups or the comball japery.ECP Response—Alex Voyles responded to the incident by simply statingDisturbing. This makes it necessary to call into questionwhat my future attendance at this school will represent, especially with such radically violent trendsettersclearing the path ahead of me.IDCO
