Description: HHHHHHHHI^^^HHm^B^^BBHIHHI^HHHHi^HHHIJHiHHTHE LLAMARADABIG NEWSPAPER SCOOP!Reporter On The Farm Delves Into the Seniors Past HistoryThe entire world has been startled by the astounding facts brought tolight concerning the past life of the Senior Class of Ellettsville High School. After months of intensive sleuthing and the most underhanded snooping, areporter on The Farm now presents to a waiting and feverish populace thetrue story of the graduating class of 1935.It seems that four years ago on a certain September morning a numberof dark forms were observed sneaking in the direction of the High School.Their caps were pulled low on their brows and witnesses testify that thesneakers very plainly hoped to pass unobserved. But all the evidence collected by the indefatigable reporter proves beyond doubt that the timid oneswere Emma Adams, Viola Addie, Dorothy Ison, Maxwell Olson, and FloydStansbury. Poor things ! No wonder they were bathed in bashfulness. Itwas their first day as Freshmen in 1931.How large they did feel and then how insignificant. Mr. May was theirsponsor and has remained with them during all four years, guiding and directing them along their path of education. Their officers were : President,Elizabeth Wickens; Vice-President, Tommy Easton; Secretary, GertrudeGoble, and Treasurer, Eva Cowden. Freshman Day and the Banquet weretheir large and important events. All of them saw a year of rather hard work when they were Sophomores.Freeda Livingston was President of their class, Tommy Easton assisted heras Vice-President, Justine Craig was their Secretary and Marie Moore wastheir Treasurer. They went on their Picnic to Spring Mill State Park.Jolly Juniors! They gave one three act play. Lighthouse Nan, andfive one act plays. Robert Van Dyke was elected President; Emma Adams.Vice-President; Marie Moore, Secretary; and Ada Fern Farley, Treasurer. On the last day of school they met to elect officers for the last time. BobVan Dyke was the general choice with Alan Borden as Vice-President,Freeda Livingston as Secretary and Dorothy Ison as Treasurer. It was alittle hard to realize they would be Seniors when they returned. They are the largest class that ever graduated from E. H. S. One three-act play, The Spare Room was given. After publishing the Llamaradathey said farewell.19 3 5Page fourteen
