Description: ft ftENIOR POEMJuanita Still is very small,And about the boys, she teases them all,She talks in class, disturbs everyone,And while at school shes a barrel of fun.Marilyn Jo Brown, we expectSoon with chemistry will connect.With explosives she will make quite a bang,And frighten, I fear, her old school gang.Ralph will soon be graduating,To seek his fortune with the rest.He hopes to obtain a high ratingSo his future can be one of the best.It takes Lillian Halstead to start the class,To bring the smiles and supply the laughs,To give information about our Marine pals,And to get envious glances from all the gals.Johnny Hynds is handsome but not so tall,He was born, I guess, a-playing ball.Red of face but pure at heart,If he would study hed sure get smart.Violet Webb, with her skinny little sides,Is a whole lot longer than she is wide.If words were explosives she could fill up a tank,But folks Im telling you her mind is a blank.Kenneth Reynolds is as smart as he can be,I guess he could almost count to three.He doesnt always have his nose in a book,But he has that grand old studious look.Big-eared Bob St. Clair, so it is said,People think of him as being cornfed.But we seniors adore him, and that is that,Even if he is a red hot Democrat.Murry Harris, a sassy little cuss,Sure is loved by all of us.She had Paul eating out of her handUntil he became a lad of Uncle Sams.Earl Leach everyone knows,Very seldom ever goes,But when he does hell stay all night,And then get home about daylight.Bob Miller is a handsome lad,When in school he is never bad.He never makes very much noise,But he is a friend to all the boys.Josephine has led such a lifeSo as to be someones fine wife.She rides in on the busTo come to school without a fuss.(Continued on Page 48)Page Nineteen
