Description: aSenior Class PoemHubert we will all confessIs very much of a pest,He likes to tell jokesAnd laughs till he chokes,Wed be lost without him I guess.Next is Mary Lou,Whom Charles is trying to woo;She has red hairBut her tempers not thereShed be a good friend to you.Next is smiling Violet Jeanne,Who with her dimples is always seenShe has very few foes,Has a little pug nose,And for a husband was quite keen.Juanita is a Senior quite gayShe always likes her own way,Shes fond of the west,But the E-A-S-T she likes best;Or so Ive heard people say.Ralph is a Senior boy slimHes full of vigor and vim;He is a smart lad,Is not very badAnd always wears a grin.Esther is so petiteIs fond of Rice instead of wheat,When we ask her why,She says with a signSome Rice is mighty sweet.Now, Dan is a boy supremeHe is captain of the B. B. team;He has lots of strengthAlong with his length,And doesnt seem to think Freshmen green.Lee is almost a blond,Of B. B. he is quite fond,He plays with a paceThat sets quite a race,And will not drink bottle and bond.Harriet is just a wee mite,Imitating Greta Garbo is her delight,Shes in for all funAnd cant be outdone;Tho she studies both day and night.Emma Jeanne, whom we all know as Mag,At you she never would nag,She tells lots of jokesAnd always could coax;One to be her friend without having to beg.Now Toots we know is sedateShe studies each night till quite late;She is a smart lass,And always will passIn everything she will undertake.Virgil makes a trip to Bloomington twice a week,About his love affairs he is no sneak;We think he will get married and alas!There will be another one out of the Senior class.Page Twelve
