Mustangs Take WCCTwo Years In A RowThe boys track team had avery outstanding season. Theytook twelve boys to sectionalsand placed third, scoring 54points, the best ever in the history of Edgewood boys track.They also brought home theW.C.C. Championship tomake it two in a row.Mike Fiddler broke theschool record in the 400 meterwith a time of 50.1 as did the400 meter relay team (DougFiscus, Mike Fiddler, Bryan Wickens and Brad Wickens) with their time of 44.5.Each meet I tried to improve,along with the team, saidTony Kassissieh. Improvement was what it took to have afifteen win-four loss record fora great overall season.The girls team had an outstanding season as well. Theytook two girls: Jenny Rogersand Shelly Weaver on to Regional. According to CoachGarry Anderson we had agreat season. By breakingseveral school records andgualifying so many girls forsectionals. The girls also placedthird in W.C.C. the best in ourhistory. This years talenthelped the team go out of agreat season with a nine win-three loss record.EHS5082Girls TrackMartinsvilleS.
