Description: Home Ec Is ForBoys As WellAs GirlsHome Economics is in a process of change. It is nolonger just the art of cooking and sewing, although they stillexist. Human relationships classes have been added to theHome Economics curriculum with the idea of broadening thestudents awareness and understanding of those around him.Consumer education is also being offered to the Edge-wood students through home economics. It is hoped that thestudents will learn more about the Market Place, how it operates and generally how to find a good bargain. Of course,as in any money management class, budgeting is an important part.Many of the young men are enjoying the boys foodsclasses which were offered again this year. Including a varietyof cooking experiences, the boys gave a tea for the 1972graduates who came back to Edgewood to share their collegeexperiences with the 1973 hopefuls. Boys foods has provedto be very rewarding for all concerned.31
