Marching Mustangs Place19th in State Fair Band ContestThere were many changes in this years summer band schedule among them,the new uniforms were purchased by the band and the absence of Band Camp. Buteven though the band had to work twice as hard at school, the many hours of practice were well worth the 19th place finish at the Indiana State Fair. The band waspleased with the mornings performance and expected to make at least 25th placing.It was like a dream come true for all the people involved. Now the light is turnedtoward a new year at State Fair.Ik A- . ■An excited band gives Mr. Avery a free rideback to the buses after the 19th placing.Drum Major Dennis Walls displays the plaque that was awarded to the Marching Mustangs for ajob well done.Dennis and Cheryl lead the band as they step off toward their award winning performance at this years Band Day at State Fair.• **; -„-*r*timmmmmmZmmtWm^a^ii |
