Gymnastics: Being Able to Express YourselfPracticing after school every day proved a verysuccessful way to build a winning gymnasticsteam, which was increased to 18 members thisyear. Practices were divided into the differentareas of performance, from the trampoline to tumbling, so that some were practiced each day. Girlswere seen in action representing the school atmany meets in the district and at demonstrationsduring half-time and during home room. Sponsored by Karen Dawson, the girls earned moneyfrom checking coats at basketball games to buynew uniforms.Utilizing the floor for the practice, Beth Rogers rehearsesher balance beam routine for the next gymnastics meet.|Row I: Roxanne Carmichael, Vicki McCoy, TerriThomas, Rita Hendricks.
